Rialina

Rialina writes original children's books primarily for ages 4 to 8, with engaging stories and relatable characters that teach positive values such as friendship, kindness, patience, courage and helping others. She is new to storybooks but has already written two books. Her first book is Caramel and Truffle's Park Surprise, starring her friend's real dogs, who are complete opposites and always jealous of each other. Her Tinig ng Alamat series is an original Filipino-inspired children's fantasy series featuring magical creatures, nature and adventure: volume 1 is done, and volume 2, which she is working on now, introduces Usa-Ka, a mysterious deer with a golden ring on his forehead who serves as a guardian and mediator of the forest. The series began when she was helping her niece with school projects, and her characters start as a unique animal, creature or concept before she develops their personality, abilities and role.

Alongside her creative work, Rialina has several years of professional experience in customer service, administrative and operational support, reporting and team coordination, and is comfortable working with digital and AI-assisted tools. She is a mom of two, a 7-year-old boy and a 3-month-old baby girl, and started creating books as a hobby in her free time after she resigned from her BPO career last year. These days she is also exploring how AI can be used for creativity and content creation, and would love to explore AI-assisted video creation.
