Louie is currently refining a quoting system, adding error handling for better risk mitigation. It is still in Phase 1, as human intervention and executive approvals are still required for sensitive info. The system reads load schedules into quotations for his wife's work, and he has built it in both Make and n8n, his favorite, running n8n locally with Ollama and Qwen2.5 so he can build workflows while minimizing cost. He also built a safety inspection analyzer for a site safety consulting company.
Job hunting has sparked ideas around building an AI automation service, and Louie has spent a lot of time documenting ideas, doing research, discovering tools, and refining his frameworks and methodologies. Outside of work, you'll find him spending time with his wife and kids, cooking for them, playing video games, or taking walks outside to recharge.
